In 2024, Ukraine officially joined the European educational information network Eurydice, marking a significant milestone on its path towards deeper integration into the European Education Area. This step was made possible by the signing of the Framework Agreement between the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and the European Commission on 15 June 2023, paving the way for closer cooperation in the field of education.
The State Scientific Institution “Institute of Educational Analytics” (SSI “IEA”) serves as the official National Eurydice Unit in Ukraine. The Head of the Unit is the Institute’s Director, Senior Researcher, PhD in Economics, Andrii Lytvynchuk.
The Unit’s team is responsible for updating the profile of Ukraine’s education system on the Eurypedia webpage, implementing information and promotional activities, and other tasks (Order of the Ministry of Education and Science No. 421 dated 29 March 2024). More information about the SSI “IEA” and the Eurydice network can be found in the information brochure.
