As a rule, teachers, andragogs, and lecturers in the field of adult education face the same requirements, rules and procedures for professional development as teachers working in institutions of general secondary, vocational, professional pre-higher and higher education.
At the same time, the Article 22 of the draft Law of Ukraine ‘On Adult Education’ stipulates that the scope of professional development of academic staff in the field of adult education is 6 units of the European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System (ECTS) or 180 training hours within 5 years (Проект Закону про освіту дорослих).
